Villa The Palm House is close to the excitement of Seminyak, but far enough away to ensure a traditional Balinese experience. No detail has been overlooked – every piece of furniture has been custom designed for luxury and comfort, whilst the villa’s collection of unique artworks has been curated by the owners to complement every room.

Villa The Palm House comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests, with queen beds in each room that can also be configured to twins, and a kids’ heaven bunk room with space for extra beds. Balconies and terraces complete the bedrooms with stunning views of the pool and palm groves.

Families and sport fanatics will enjoy the 40-metre pool, air-conditioned gym, spa services and a yoga pavilion overlooking the view. The pool has a shallow end, which is shaded until midday – perfect for kids wanting some splash time; the other end boasts a Jacuzzi that makes an ideal spot for enjoying sunset cocktails. Make use of the car and driver for an additional charge and visit some of Bali’s temples and historic sites, play a round of golf at the nearby Nirwana course, or try the trendy cafés, beach clubs and bars of Canggu, all just minutes away from the villa.

The outdoor sunken living room and barbecue area is an alternative for casual dinners and benefits from Canggu’s balmy evening breezes. Graced with almost 200 square metres of neatly manicured lawn, The Palm House is the perfect location to celebrate special occasions and sophisticated events. The villa has a dedicated barman and resort-quality chef available to create outstanding meals throughout your stay, so if a 10-course dégustation menu created exclusively for you and your guests is on your agenda then sit back and enjoy.

VILLA LAYOUT
The Palm House is entered through double doors which lead into the grand open-sided living and dining room. The building sprawls across almost acre of land, and the 40 metre pool and palm grove vista take centre stage. A large fully air-conditioned space serves as entertainment area and informal dining room. A billiard table is set up to the right of the lounge and enjoys an open-faced entrance. More alfresco dining areas, a designer bale, gym and office complete the picture-perfect layout.

LIVING AREAS
The open air living and dining room on the ground floor melds seamlessly onto the manicured lawn with expansive pool and jungle views. This formal dining area here seats 12 guests.

The fully air-conditioned entertainment room is off the main stairway and houses two oversized modular sofas with plenty of cushions for lying back and relaxing. This is the perfect spot to wind down and watch your favourite movie or challenge friends to a board game from the comprehensive in- house selection. The enclosed living and dining room directly off the chef’s kitchen is the hub and heart of the villa. Breakfast is normally served here at the 12-seater table, and a superbly comfortable sofa is perfectly positioned for taking in all the sights and delights of The Palm House.

Outdoor entertaining areas are sensational: a sunken open living room is flanked by a jacuzzi and a large stone fire pit creating the ambience for cocktails and casual dining nights. This space enjoys the coveted evening breeze, and has a large built-in barbecue, sink and fridge, alongside a bench style cocktail bar.

BEDROOMS
The Palm House has five ensuite bedrooms enveloped in air-conditioned comfort. Each room has large picture windows that frame the tropical views, along with either a terrace or balcony. All five rooms are of a similar size and have flexibly configured beds offering both twin and queen-sized options. The villa has luxury rollaway beds that can also be added upon request.

The design of the bedrooms is understated luxury – softly muted colors are teamed with aged woods. Unique antique pieces, artefacts and artwork adorn the walls. The wardrobes are walk-in and the bathrooms feature a mix of marble and teak wood, oversized freestanding bathtubs, as well as spacious showers. The exception is the bathroom in the bunk room, which has a massive double shower instead of the tub.

The mattresses are hotel-grade, thick, luxurious and wrapped in Egyptian cotton bedding. A comfortable sitting area with a custom-made sofa and desk completes the look. Sheer curtains ensure total privacy while enjoying the light, however for those wanting to sleep in, every bedroom is equipped with black-out curtains.
